Date and location: Tuesday, May 26, 2026 | 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. | Science Library, Triolet Campus
The EcoDoR workshop makes the most of your data!
As part of a national Open Science movement, the data workshop at Montpellier’s EcoDoR
supports research teams on a daily basis
in managing their work through services dedicated to the deposit and curation of
datasets. To highlight these initiatives, EcoDoR is organizing a local “Curathon”
on May 26.
As part of “Spring of Data,” this event offers a unique opportunity
to discover our services, receive guidance on leveraging your
research data, and strengthen your data description practices (metadata).
If you are a data professional, this event also offers an opportunity
to discuss best practicesfor depositing, describing, and curating data, to identify datasets relevant to your collections or institutional repositories, and to
practice curation in real-world conditions via the national “sandbox.”
Whether you’re already a user of our storage services or new to them, this event is
open to everyone:
- Curators and managers of institutional spaces
- Research Support Staff and Unit Data Coordinators (UDCs)
- Researchers seeking to enhance the visibility and quality of their publications
