As part of the National Curathon Day organized by Recherche Data

, EcoDoR is hosting a local curathon open to anyone involved
in the curation of datasets: curators,
administrators and managers of data warehouses or institutional repositories,
research support staff, departmental data coordinators, as well as researchers
who wish to improve the quality of the documentation for their
datasets.


A national presentation of the Curathon is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5, at 9:30 a.m.

Practical information


The EcoDoR Curathon will take place in person at the Science Library – Triolet Campus
(Place Eugène Bataillon, 34090 Montpellier) from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.


The morning session will be followed by a complimentary lunch for all participants.

Objectives for the morning

  • Discuss best practices for depositing, curating, and describing datasets.
  • Identify datasets that may be related to your collections or institutional spaces.
  • Practice data curation using the "test" datasets available in the research.data.gouv.fr sandbox.
