Publishing a Data Paper: challenges of best practices, scientific integrity, and open science
Laurence Dedieu explains how a Data Paper fits into the global open science approach and addresses the challenges of data reuse, scientific integrity, reproducibility, and research transparency. The main objective of the Data Paper is data reuse. To be successful, the Data Paper must apply best practices, particularly disciplinary ones, in terms of description, documentation, and open format, so that the data is findable, accessible, understandable, interpretable, and reusable.
